Project Management

From social media to various marketing projects and fundraising events, I have developed a comfort with thorough project management.

I have used various project management tools to track progress and develop deadlines. However, the key, I believe, is communication and setting of expectations and deadlines. We all have tons of hats to wear in our daily work lives. So, it is necessary to use the gifts and talents of those around us. Identifying those talents and capitalizing on them can make or break a project.

I regularly project manage the publications that the Oklahoma Center for Nonprofits develops, as well as the marketing and communications pieces to all of the programs, but recently was charged with managing one of our two annual fundraisers. It was a challenging endeavor, only because I was simultaneously managing the daily duties of marketing and communications, the creation of our annual report, the end of year campaign and many other small projects.

Organization and preparation are my friends!
